Need a highlight for your summer? Find it at Tree of Life
Lutheran Bible Camp, a one-week summer camp in the beautiful Sierra
foothills! Our program is for both children and teens, from those
just starting grade 4 to those just out of high school. We offer a
week of Bible study, Christian fellowship, and just plain fun
in God's great outdoors.

4/7/2018: We are in need of a certified lifeguard for this year's camp. This can either be a part-time position where you come in each afternoon just to lifeguard, or a full-time position where you stay at camp overnight and assist in other areas while not lifeguarding. Tree of Life is willing to reimburse expenses for lifeguard class if needed. Contact Jason Covey at 916-747-8359 if you are interested.
3/31/2018: Camper and staff registration for 2018 is now open! Staff registration is now online-only. Campers can still register using the paper form, but online registration is preferred. Use the links above for information and registration forms.
12/3/2017: The Board of Directors met, discussed comments from
the post-camp meeting, began planning for 2018, and set meeting
dates for 2018. We welcomed new board member Rev. Joshua Hanson.
He replaces Rev. Jason Schmidt, who has taken a call out of the
area. Thanks to them both, for past and future service!
7/20/2017: Another great Tree of Life camp is history now! We had 101 campers and 41 staff (counting some staff who weren't there the whole week), and we all had a great time enjoying the outdoors, Christian fellowship, Bible studies, and fun activities. For camp photos and comments, hit the links at the top of this page to go to our photo gallery on this web site, and to our Facebook page and group. Please contact the webmaster if you have camp photos to share!

Sunday 7/8/2018 – Saturday 7/14/2018:
Camp dates for 2018.
Check-in time for campers is 6:00pm – 7:00pm Sunday.
There will be no Sunday evening meal.
Camp closes at
11:00am Saturday. Please pick up your children promptly.
Saturday 7/28/2018, 1:30pm (tentative date and time): Post-camp
feedback meeting. Staff, campers, and parents are invited to attend
this meeting and give feedback on this year's camp to help us
improve for next year. The annual general membership meeting with
elections to the Board of Directors will also be held at this time.
Fees for 2018 are $435 for the first child in a family, $265
for each additional child, and $130 for each Little Lamb aged 4-7 (ages 3
and under are free). Senior campers (grades 9-12) are charged an
additional $15 to help with the cost of the overnighter and Senior
party. All campers will receive a camp T-shirt.
Snack bar cards are available in $5, $10, and $15
denominations, with a $15 maximum per camper. We recommend at most
$10 for Juniors and Intermediates. Campers with snack bar cards do
not need money during the week, and we discourage bringing it.
Unused portions of snack bar cards can be refunded at the end of camp.
Registration and fees are due three weeks before the
first day of camp. Please register online,
or if you can't do that, download
and mail in a paper registration form.
Late registrations are accepted when space is available. Please
telephone or email to reserve a space if your registration will be late.
Donations to camp are gladly accepted! They will be used to
help keep our fees affordable for families. We are a 501(c)(3)
nonprofit corporation, and your donations are tax-deductible. (Note
that camper fees are not donations and are not deductible.)
