Need a highlight for your summer? Find it at Tree of Life
Lutheran Bible Camp, a one-week summer camp in the beautiful Sierra
foothills! Our program is for both children and teens, from those
just starting grade 4 to those just out of high school. We offer a
week of Bible study, Christian fellowship, and just plain fun
in God's great outdoors.

Many thanks to Brian Ingram for photographing and producing this video.
7/30/2016 (update): Our July 6 bank deposit, consisting of 9
checks totaling $6090, was lost either in the mail or by our
bank. We are trying to contact the folks who wrote those checks to
ask them to stop payment on their checks and write us new checks.
So far seven of the nine have responded. Please respond if you
3/27/2016: The 2016 camper and staff application forms are now
available on the downloads
page. Thanks to Holly Marquardt for sprucing up the camper
2/28/2016: The camp board met today. Among other business, we set
the new fees for 2016; see below. A small increase was necessary
because Capital Mountain is charging us more this year. Our camp
is still a great bargain! Also note that the date of the June board
meeting has changed to June 5. The board viewed the 2015 camp video
DVD at today's meeting, and copies will be sent out soon (this
time for sure!).
11/8/2015: The camp board of directors met today. Greg Pluckhan
was elected chairman, Noel Ledermann secretary, and Tim Mann
treasurer. The board discussed the input from the post-camp
general membership meeting and our action items for the 2016 camp.
We set the meeting dates for 2016; see below. Additional news:
The 2015 camp video DVD is complete! Copies will be made and
mailed to campers and staff soon, hopefully before Thanksgiving.
Sunday 8/7/2016, 3:00pm (NEW DATE/TIME):
Post-camp feedback meeting.
Staff, campers, and parents are invited to attend this meeting and
give feedback on this year's camp to help us improve for next year.
The annual general membership meeting with elections to the Board
of Directors will also be held at this time.
Location: Annette Smith's home in Lodi, CA. Hamburgers, Hot dogs and drinks will be provided. Please bring side dishes or dessert.
Fees for 2016 are $415 for the first child in a family, $255
for each additional child, and $130 for each Little Lamb aged 4-7 (ages 3
and under are free). Senior campers (grades 9-12) are charged an
additional $15 to help with the cost of the overnighter and Senior
party. All campers will receive a camp T-shirt.
Snack bar cards are available in $5, $10, and $15
denominations, with a $15 maximum per camper. We recommend at most
$10 for Juniors and Intermediates. Campers with snack bar cards do
not need money during the week, and we discourage bringing it.
Unused portions of snack bar cards can be refunded at the end of camp.
Registration forms and fees are due three weeks before
the first day of camp. You can get forms from your church or download them here. Late registrations are
accepted when space is available. Please telephone to reserve a space
if your registration will be late.
Donations to camp are gladly accepted! They will be used to
help keep our fees affordable for families. We are a 501(c)(3)
nonprofit corporation, and your donations are tax-deductible. (Note
that camper fees are not donations and are not deductible.)
